⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I highly recommend Minds in Motion Counseling! Maggie tailors each session to what I need in the moment. She challenges me while allowing me to still feel heard and supported—a skillset that is hard to find. The use of EMDR has also helped me come a long way. I’m so grateful for her insight and compassion.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I would highly recommend using Minds In Motion for anyone seeking out therapy services. I was lucky enough to be matched with Maggie. I looked forward to our sessions every week. Maggie helped me navigate through one of the most challenging parts of my life. She made me feel like I was being heard and I was not alone. She was able to give me advice and a new found confidence I didn’t know was even there. It was definitely life changing for me and I am very thankful for Minds In Motion and especially Maggie.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I am incredibly grateful to have found such an understanding, compassionate, and patient therapist. Maggie has been a guiding light through my journey of healing from trauma. From the very beginning she created a safe space where I could truly open up, without fear of judgment. What stands out the most is her patience. She never rushes me, always allowing me to move at my own pace, while encouraging me to explore areas I didn’t realize needed attention. She’s gentle with me but also firm when she needs to. I’m very appreciative of Maggie.

THE CRUSHING WEIGHT YOU’RE CARRYING
You’ve checked all the boxes: career, family, responsibilities. And from the outside, it looks like you’re thriving.
But inside? You’re drained, discouraged, and running on empty.
Dragging through mornings, pushing through endless workdays, and juggling family obligations has become your “normal”. Your mind is always racing, your body never relaxes, and even success feels more like pressure than joy.
You can’t remember the last time you felt truly calm, confident, or excited about life. (Does that even happen anymore?)
You’ve tried managing it yourself—extra hours at the gym, another glass of wine, venting to friends. But the relief never lasts.
IMAGINE SOMETHING DIFFERENT
Walking into that presentation without dread.
Hearing your boss’s critique without spiraling for days.
Ending the day feeling proud of your work and still having energy left for yourself.
Instead of dragging through emails and late nights, you feel confident and steady. The pressure to “do more, be more, achieve more” finally quiets, and you start steering your life again instead of just surviving it.
You laugh more, rest more, and reconnect with the people and parts of life you’ve been too drained to enjoy.
This isn’t about lowering your ambition—it’s about building success that doesn’t come at the cost of your mental health.
WHY WORK WITH ME
A different approach
Starting therapy feels overwhelming and sometimes just sucks. I get it.
That’s why I keep it real:
I’m human with you. This is a space where you can lay it all out without judgment.
I’m active in sessions. I ask the tough questions, give honest feedback, and share tools you can use right away.
I balance strategy with depth. We’ll tackle the root causes, but you’ll also leave with practical ways to feel better now.
This isn’t therapy where you just vent into the void. It’s collaborative, engaged, and focused on helping you move from just surviving to actually living.
Depression
Life feels heavy, joyless, and like you’re just going through the motions. You’re tired of faking “fine” when you’re anything but.
Anxiety
Your brain won’t shut off, your chest is always tight, and you can’t remember the last time you weren’t bracing for something to go wrong.
Trauma and PTSD
You’re tired of the flashbacks, the nightmares, and feeling on edge like the next bad thing is always around the corner.
LGBTQ+
No hiding. No shame. No questioning whether you belong. This is a space where you get to be fully yourself—loud, proud, and without apology.
Meet the clinician
Hi, I’m Maggie. So nice to meet you!
I won’t bore you with where I went to school or the list of trainings (you can check those out on my About page).
What matters here is you. What brought you here? What’s pulling you toward doing this deeper work?
You don’t have to explain it perfectly. I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve been through my own struggles and grief, and I’ve seen up close how much it matters to have someone who truly cares. Watching a loved one struggle showed me the kind of therapist I wanted to be: present, real, and fully invested.
I’ll meet you where you are—with honesty, humor, swearing when it fits, a facepalm or two, and plenty of heart. Most of all, I bring the curiosity and care to help you sort through the hard stuff so you can actually feel better.
